So far it has been a wonderful year. Seeing many students qualify and move forward into new careers or established therapists adding a new skill to their growing lists.  Also been good to see so many of you who first started your training with me returning to train in another therapy. I have now seen three students be accepted to the Steiner cruisers. As body Masseurs it is very hard ot be accepted. Well done to you all. I now have two part time tutors who work  independently running courses or team teach.

We are very excited about the Level 4 certificate in Sports Massage Therapy starting in September 2010. I have been amzed at the response for this course, i can only assume that it is the draw to work at the olympics. We already only have 7 places left for this course and it is May!!  I am just coming to the end of my PGCE and am looking forward to studying a hands on subject again. 

 

We are in talks at present about expanding our operation into beauty and Make up. This would not be run at our currently location, but in a City  near by. We will still be staying with the holistic, natural and organic ethos that is so important to me. However  it has to be a natural progression for Health Academics as we have had so many enqueries about this area of the industry.  I will be over seeing the whole process and am currently looking for innovative tutors to join this  new venture.

 

Also watch out for changes to the website, we are currently reviewing and upgrading not only courses  in line with the change in qualifications form August, but the look of the site too.
