SLAVIC MASSAGE(TM)

Slavic Massage(TM) is approached from an understanding of Classical Aromatherapy. Classical Aromatherapy  is 'Holistic' and 'Alternative' medicine as  opposed to complementary medicine.

It is one of the oldest , truest forms of Classical Aromatherapy and was introduced into Britain by Jan Kusmirek, a leading Aromatherapist.

Slavic massage has multicultural origins and has developed and evolved over hundreds of years from the  times of Genghis Khan, spreading through the great horse nations of the Slavic people of Central Asia and Eastern Europe to the West. It was born through the nuturing care of both humans and horses by those who lived close to nature and is an extremely profound form of aromatic massage.

Slavic massage is about inducing deep mental and total body relaxation, gently allowing the muscular system to de-stress and allowing the body to articulate. It is a dance, yielding to shared purpose of healing.

It is a smooth, flowing, hypnotic massage using gently stretches, circles, diagonal moves, figures of eight and rhythmical movements.

Warm oil is drizzled onto the skin to begin the massage, metling muscle tension allowing the sensations of warmth and smooth movement to flood the mind.

This deceptively simple ,massage is highly effective and extremely powerful both physically and emotionally.
