'NEW' VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Nail treatments (Manicure and

Enhancing the appearance of nails by Manicures and Pedicures are established treatments provided by therapists. This is a good skill as a stand alone therapy, to add to your portfolio of treatments and works well for  Reflexologists who want to work with health  and also the condition and appearance of their clients hands and feet.

 

How long is the course

The course will run over two days

9.30 till 5pm

With half day assessment

What are the entry reuirements?

There are no entry requirements apart from a sound understanding of written and spoken English. You will also be required to have a short interview in person or ove the telephone.

  • How to paint Nails-light colours, dark colours, french manicure

  • marketing and costing
  • special treatments- exfoliation, masks,heated mitts and booties, paraffin wax
  • Types of products available on market and growing trends

How will i be assessed?

 

  • Three assignment s(one if you have covered another beauty course with VTCT)
  • Practical sessions at home to cover ranges not covered on course
  • Final practical 1/2 day or evening assessment-Two  pedicures  and manicure and a french manicure paint.

Is there any home study?

Independent study is essential for assignments and the practical ranges that need to be covered away from the centre.

 

What qualifications will i gain?

 Upon successful completion of the course candidates will be awarded the VTCT units in providing Manicures  and Pedicures and the Health Academics Certificate in Manicure and Pedicures.

 

How much does the course cost?

The cost of this course is £220 with the addition of the assessment fee of £50.OR if only covering  Manicure or only covering Pedicure the price will be £120 for the day you attendplus £30 assessment fee.

 

VTCT assessment books at £46 each and life time registration if not a member of £16.Or Separate units £30
