The qualification is suitable as a gateway for non-medical physical therapies and is a reinforcement to learning and confidence building for those taking skills qualifications, for returners to therapies and for those progressing to further qualifications.
A critical aspect of this qualification is that the units may be accessed independently to fulfil specific needs. for this reason, they have a common section dealing with the cell, as a fundamental building block.

What are the entry requirements for this course?
No previous knowledge is required. However a good command of verbal and written English is an advantage. We have on line tests for students who maybe worried regarding their ability in this area. these tests can be carried out at your home and results are instant. We can then discuss your needs to increase your levels of competance and performance in this area if level is lower than required for course.
How is the course taught?
The course is taught through a series of lectures and tutorials, utilising a variety of visual aids and an interactive white board.
There is an optional field trip to the COLLEGE
OF BODY SCIENCE in London. All students on course will be
informed of dates throughout the year.
Course content
Theere are 8 assignments covering two subjects each.
How is the course assessed?
You will be required to do home study
There are 8 assignments that will need to be completed on each section after the session at the college.
There is a single test paper when you have finished covering all unit assignments and includes 36 multiple choice questions covering all units( see course content).
It is compulsory that it is taken at Health academics either when you are attending another course or when is convenient to you. It should take no longer than one hour.
on completion of each assignment you must either print up the assignment and feedback form or save on memory stick, CD or card and bring this to the centre when completing your test paper.
What equipment is required for the course?
Students will need pens, pencils, coloured pencils, notepad and plastic wallets or files to hold course materials and their work. Additionally, there are two anatomy and physiology course books that you may purchase if required.
It is a good idea that you have a pc, laptop or access to one of these as assignments will need to be typed up. We also need the facility to email you assignments and work can be emailed to us for marking.
What qualifications will I gain?
Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive the VTCT Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology and the Health Academics Anatomy & Physiology Diploma
How much does the course cost?
The cost of the course is £295 plus £49 for VTCT assessment book and one off VTCT life time registration of £16 .If this course is being studied in conjunction with another course it can be included in an instalment payment scheme, please discuss with centre.
